Get MyTSA app - It will show you in real time, how long the wait for both general TSA and Pre-Check is at whatever airport you are flying from. 

Check FlightAware’s “Misery Map” - It can help you track delays across the country. In the 24 hours before your trip, check your flight status directly on your airline’s website. If you can, look at where your plane is coming from, because even if the weather is clear here, delays somewhere else could impact your flight.

Download your airline’s app - Many apps show exactly where your incoming plane is and often provide more up-to-date departure times than the boards at the airport.
