Construction equipment catches fire at new Raleigh elementary school
A piece of construction equipment caught fire at an elementary school under construction early Wednesday morning.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A piece of construction equipment caught fire at an elementary school under construction early Wednesday morning.
The WRAL Breaking News Tracker was at the scene of York Elementary School, located at 5201 Brookhaven Drive off Creedmoor Road, at 2 a.m., where smoke was coming from a Bobcat machine.
The STEM school is not yet built.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
