I can't say enough about him for everything that he has been through. He started out with some pretty severe burns. His vision has not been great because of the damage to his eyes. Sports injuries were the result of a deadly house fire off Meadow Street in New Bern back in december that claimed the lives of 69 year old timothy Gibbons and 72 year old Elizabeth. Perry neighbors say sport was Gibbons dog and for the time being he's staying with dr anne snuggle and a few other little buddies to keep him company, but he has remained the sweetest dog that the more he's come out of his shell, he's a total goofball that just wants to lay in your lap and cuddle while sports recovery progresses and dr Nichols care. His first medical bill was pricey. His initial visit in the emergency clinic was a little over $3000. He's still on multiple medications, He's receiving medications eight time. But thankfully the community rallied behind him raising more than $5,000. Good boy, he'll most likely have several more treatments soon and Dr. Nagle says hopefully he'll be up for adoption once he's cleared to do so so within the next few months, hopefully we can get him started on heartworm treatment that should be between 6 to 12 months and then he should be ready to find a home

“I can’t say enough about him, Dr. Nagle said. “For everything he has been through, he started out with some pretty severe burns and his vision has not been great because of the damage to his eyes.”

Sport survived a house fire that took the lives of 69-year-old Timothy Gibbons and 72-year-old Elizabeth Perry. Neighbors say Sport was Gibbons’ dog.

Currently, Sport is living with Dr. Nagle and may have a while before he can be adopted.

“That should be between six to twelve months and hopefully he should have a home,” Dr. Nagle said.
