Coast Guard suspends search for swimmer in Oregon Inlet

Posted — UpdatedOREGON INLET, NC — The Coast Guard on Wednesday evening suspended its search for a 19-year-old man missing in the water near the Oregon Inlet campgrounds.
Brian Mouring, from Williamsburg, Va., was reported missing around 10 a.m.
The Coast Guard used air, boat and land crews to search for him for more than nine hours and worked with crews from Nags Head Fire and Rescue Department, Nags Head Ocean Rescue, North Carolina Park Rangers and North Carolina Fish and Game.
