— Authorities were searching for a suspect and a motive after four people were shot and wounded last week in Henderson, authorities said.

Officials said Thomas Williamson, 47, Latoya Taylor, 36, Travis Williams, 23, and Dana Elliott, 26, all suffered wounds when gunfire erupted at a scene along Hilliard Street near Owen Davis Park. The conditions of the victims were pending.

The State Bureau of Investigation is working with Henderson police to find a suspect responsible for the shooting.

City leaders asked state leaders for help after a series of shootings in Henderson in which four people were killed in less than a week in a city that has about 15,000 residents.

Anyone with information about the latest shooting was asked to call police.
