Clayton woman struck, killed by car in Raleigh
A Clayton woman was struck and killed by a car Wednesday night in Raleigh.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Clayton woman was struck and killed by a car Wednesday night in Raleigh.
Raleigh police said Victoria Michelle Mccrae, 21, was struck by a car on Trawick Road near New Bern Avenue at about 10:25 p.m.
Mccrae was taken to WakeMed, where she died as a result of her injuries.
Police said Mccrae was wearing all black clothing and wasn't in a crosswalk when she was hit.
Terrance Galloway, of Raleigh, who was driving the 1999 Mercury that hit Mccrae, wasn't hurt.
No charges have been filed in the case.
