Clayton High teacher accused of shoplifting art supplies
A Clayton High School arts teacher is accused of shoplifting craft supplies from Walmart over the weekend, authorities said Wednesday.
Posted — UpdatedPolice were called to the Walmart at 805 Town Centre Blvd. on Saturday after loss-prevention officers spotted a woman placing items in her shopping cart concealed by a rain coat.
Walmart staffers said the woman went to a check-out line and paid for some items in her cart, but several items remained concealed by her coat, authorities said.
The woman was stopped on her way out with $224 in unpaid merchandise, authorities said.
Joanna Frantz was cited with misdemeanor larceny and released.
