Clayton considers teen curfew

Members of the town council have invited public comment Monday night on a plan to forbid anyone 15 or younger from roaming the streets between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. on weekdays and between midnight and six a.m. on weekends.

CLAYTON, N.C. — Clayton could become the next Triangle town with a curfew for teens.

Members of the town council have invited public comment Monday night on a plan to forbid anyone 15 or younger from roaming the streets between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. on weekdays and between midnight and six a.m. on weekends.

The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. in the council chambers at town hall, 111 E. Second St.
