DURHAM, N.C. — Award-winning comedian Chris Rock will play three shows in Durham early next year.
Rock announced earlier this week that he will be kicking off his "Total Blackout Tour" on Feb. 14 and 15 at Durham Performing Arts Center. It is Rock's first live comedy tour in nine years.

Just after tickets sold out for both shows on Friday morning, Rock announced the addition of a Feb. 13 show.

Rock has had success as an actor in film and TV, and has written, produced and directed projects. He has won four Emmy Awards, three Grammys and is a New York Times Best-Selling author.

This year, Rock was nominated for two Emmy Awards - one for directing "Amy Schumer: Live at the Apollo" and the second for his work hosting the 2016 Academy Awards.

Some tickets for the Feb. 13 show still remained early Friday afternoon. Those can be purchased via Live Nation, Ticketmaster, DPACnc.com and the venue box office.
