Chris Knight picks Rocky Mount Mills for world release of new album

Country star Chris Knight has selected Rocky Mount Mills for the worldwide release of his new album.

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — Country star Chris Knight has selected Rocky Mount Mills for the worldwide release of his new album.

Knight, known for songs like "It Ain't Easy Being Me" and "Down the River" also wrote songs for Randy Travis, Montgomery Gentry and Confederate Railroad.

He'll kick off the release of his new album, “Almost Daylight," with a concert on Oct. 11 with special guest Nashville artist Elizabeth Cook.

Tickets for the concert start at $28, with VIP seats available for $48. The show will take place inside the Power House at Rocky Mount Mills.

In the weeks following Knight's show, there will be a series of other performances as part of the Americana Mill Music Sessions series.

Those dates and artists have not been announced.
