Children's book illustrator, author Brian Lies headed to Quail Ridge Books
Brian Lies, along with author I.C. Springman, will stop at Quail Ridge Books & Music with their new book "More."
Posted — UpdatedLies actually lives in the same Massachusetts town where my in-laws live and my mother-in-law is a librarian. Because of the connection, my kids have gotten several of his books as gifts. And my older daughter even has a poster of his "Bats at the Ball Game" book hanging in her room.

Lies will be there with author I.C. Springman to present their new book, "More," a tale of a mischievous magpie and a helpful mouse. The book is best for ages 4 and up. They'll be there at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday.
Also coming up at Quail Ridge:
And at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, award-winning author Sharon Draper will visit with her paperback "Out of My Mind," which tells the story of Melody, who cannot walk or talk, but with her mind and spirit, refuses to be defined by cerebral palsy. For ages 9 and up.
