Child hit by car in Raleigh

— A child sustained minor injuries after being hit by a car at 4000 Grandover Drive in Raleigh on Saturday.

The 7-year-old boy, whose name has not been released, suffered a fractured leg. He was transported to WakeMed.

Police said the child was riding a bike with other children when he decided to veer off into the street and was hit by a car.

The driver will not be charged in the incident, police said.
