Cheers to the holidays with these two local bourbon recipes

Olde Raleigh Distillery shared these two recipes with us for drinks using their flagship bourbon, Olde Raleigh Whiskey Society.

ZEBULON, N.C. — Looking for a perfect cocktail recipe for the holiday season?
Olde Raleigh Distillery shared these two recipes with us for drinks using their flagship bourbon, Olde Raleigh Whiskey Society.
Gimme S’more
  • 1.5 oz. of Olde Raleigh Bourbon
  • 5 dashes chocolate bitters
  • .5 oz. vanilla spice simple syrup (one part water, one part sugar, 2 dashes of vanilla, allspice)
  • Chocolate and graham cracker
  • Toasted marshmallow

Prep: Combine bourbon, chocolate bitters and vanilla spice simple in a shake filled with ice, shake until chilled. Strain and pour over a large ice cube in rocks glass.

Garnish: Dip the rim of the rock glass in chocolate and dust with graham cracker. Toast the marshmallow and garnish atop the glass with a cocktail pick.

  • 1.5 oz. of Olde Raleigh Bourbon
  • 2 oz. apple cider
  • .25 oz. lime juice
  • Ginger beer
  • Cinnamon stick

Prep: Combine bourbon, cider and lime juice into a shaker with ice and shake. Pour into a copper mug and add additional ice. Top with ginger beer.

Garnish: Apple slice and cinnamon stick.
