SILER CITY, N.C. — New developments are popping up across Chatham County. One of the towns in the county is Siler City, which is bustling full of historic sites, restaurants, agritourism and shops.

Here are just a few of the places you can check out:

Celebrity Dairy

Those who need a place to stay overnight can book a room at Celebrity Dairy's Inn.

The inn is sheltered by a 250 year old oak tree, according to Celebrity dairy's website, and surrounding buildings on the farm "attest to the farm's past and present." Some of the items visitors can see are the farm's original log hay barn and granary, 1880s smoke house and the farmstead goat dairy producing goat cheese.

Guests can spend as much time as they want in the goat's barn and milking parlor, with the farm saying goats are milked twice per day.

The farm also hosts open barns three times a year.

You can find home items such as vases, figurines or signs. There's also tools, bedding and various other items. The store's Facebook page says their collection is from "many different vendors coming from all around N.C."
