HALIFAX, N.C. — A Halifax County man led sheriff's deputies on a chase Thursday on wheels and on foot before they arrested him for larceny and breaking and entering.
Emanuel Alston, 18, is a suspect in two break-ins at a hunting club off U.S. Highway 301.
Lt. Neil Aycock spotted Alston on a four-wheeler and gave chase, following him on foot after the suspect went off-road.
After Alston's capture, it was determined that the four-wheeler had been stolen from an area hunting club. He was taken to the Halifax County Jail, where he was held under $6,500 bond.
