DURHAM, N.C. — A Charlotte-based bar, deli and convenience store has announced plans to open off of Durham's Ninth Street.
The Common Market plans to open this fall at 1821 Green St. The market is known for its curated mix of craft beer, wine, coffee and deli sandwiches. The market is known for being open all day and night seven days a week.

"As a Raleigh native, I’ve been eager to get back, to bring The Common Market to the Triangle’s rich food scene and vibrant community," owner Graham Worth said.

Worth partnered with The Common Market brand in 2016. He is now responsible for the brand's overall vision.

The Durham location will be the fourth Common Market that Worth has opened and the second where he developed the real estate alongside the store. Hood Architecture did a complete renovation to the Green Street location, which has an exterior reminiscent of a 1950s gas station. The space boasts a large baseball and a rooftop skylight.

The Common Market opened in 2002 in Charlotte. There are three locations in the Queen City and another in Rock Hill, S.C.

The Durham location will have a food hall-type experience with the addition of a local coffee vendor, regular pop-up shops and items from local artisans.
