Landfall somewhere between charleston and Myrtle beach and and the biggest issue with exactly where it hits is where that dirty quadrant is going to be. The dirty quadrant means that northeastern side, which you get the storm surge and they're promising it will be somewhere in the neighborhood of 4 to 7 ft add that to high tide that's already come in and to these massive rains and there is going to be a lot of flood damage not only on the coast here in south Carolina but inland all the way up to north Carolina and Virginia. Again we can't complain about the damage that we'll see here in this area when you compare it to the damage that happened in florida. But I just hope and pray like I'm sure you do in new york that everyone stay safe because even though this is a cat one, it's a terrible one. And just where I'm standing right here, I can I can see trees that have snapped in half and that's what takes these power lines down. So power is probably the biggest concern after the water when it comes in. Gosh, I hope so, joe I can tell you the we're on the fourth floor of this balcony and and the parking lot right now is swimmable where I am. And I, as I told you earlier, downtown charleston, all they had is sandbags at the bottom of each door. I hope they're prepared. Um They've been through this before, There are no stranger to these systems. Um but I but I hope they can withstand this one because it it sure does seem like a strong one. And and Ian seems to be relentless power going out. I'm hoping they've already charged their phones. So for a little while they still have communication. They should not go outside. That is the worst thing they can do because you don't know what's in that water. You don't know if there's a live power while. Charleston police said that a woman's actions may have prevented a mass casualty event following an altercation about speeding through a neighborhood. 

<p>she did the right thing. I don't know any other person would have done that. A woman in charleston is being credited for averting a mass shooting Charleston. Police say it all started when this man, 37 year old Dennis Butler was speeding up and down the parking lot. That's when he was approached by people attending a graduation party and a birthday party asking him to slow down. His Children were playing. They said he seemed agitated and left, but shortly after he returned to the complex, armed with an ar 15 style rifle and started shooting at the crowd. Police say a woman then pulled out her pistol, shot him and killed him. I will say, on the charleston west Virginia case, charleston Police Department case. This lady was carrying a lawful firearm. Okay, A law abiding citizen who stopped the threat of Probably 20 or 30 people getting killed. She engaged the threat and stopped it. She didn't run from the threat, she engaged it, Preventing a mass casualty here in Charleston police say Butler has an extensive criminal history. Back in 2016, he was accused of shooting and pistol whipping a 19 year old woman. But those charges were dismissed because no witnesses testified at the pre trial hearing. Court records show. Butler had been convicted of two felonies in the past, meaning he should have never had a gun to begin with. Not in 2016 and not on Wednesday night at the Vista View apartments. She's just a member of the community Who was carrying her firearm. Lawfully and instead of running from the threat, she engaged with the threat and saved several lives last night, quick actions that avoided a massive tragedy as we continue dealing with the aftermath of a mass shooting that left 19 Children and two adults dead in Vivaldi Texas.</p>
