FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police on Friday charged a Fayetteville man in connection with a wreck last week that left one man dead.

Stanley Darryl Britt, 54, of Jean Bullock Road, was charged with misdemeanor death by vehicle.

Britt's Ford pickup collided with a 2011 Hyundai on Feb. 23 at Eastern Boulevard and Old Wilmington Road, police said. The impact of the crash caused the Hyundai to hit a 2007 Kia that was stopped at the intersection.
