Professional ice carvers will be creating magical ice sculptures at the North Carolina Zoo as part of International Polar Bear Day.

The award-winning carvers will use chainsaws to carve into the ice.

Pepsi and the zoo have teamed up to present the 'Better on Ice: An Ice Challenge.'

The virtual event allows guests to watch the process of ice carving, learn about the zoo and polar bears, donate to help the cause and even win prizes.

The event began at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Guests will also learn about the Zoo's role as an Arctic Ambassador Center that works to protect polar bears in the wild, and discover how you can help in the comfort of your home!

Donate $50 or more to animal conservation on February 27 to enter to win a Polar Bear paw print, and Pepsi for a year!

All donations go to the North Carolina Zoo Society.
