<p>Here's a whale of a tale tangled in fishing gear. This endangered north atlantic right whale, nicknamed Argo was first spotted in trouble off the coast of north Carolina. Argo was dragging rope and lobster pots that researchers say came from a fishing area near Nova Scotia, some 800 miles away. Rescuers gave chase for several days catching up to the large mammal in the open ocean, finally freeing Argot of the potentially lethal load, which crews say gave the whale a new chance at life. How about another life saving rescue? A mama goat and her babies trotted out towards traffic near Tampa Tampa goats. A no, not tom brady, but happy retirement. Anyway, spotted by good Samaritans who stopped the animals in their tracks detaining them until police showed up. The furry runaways were loaded up into the back of a patrol car before being safely sent back to their owners. We cap our trio of rescues by going from the land to the lake where a large group got stranded on an ice floe in Wisconsin.
