Cary teen with machete threatens to assault neighbor
A Cary teenager was arrested after threatening to assault a neighbor with a machete during an altercation Tuesday afternoon, a Cary spokesperson said.

CARY, N.C. — A Cary teenager was arrested after threatening to assault a neighbor with a machete during an altercation Tuesday afternoon, according to police records.
19-year-old Zachary Lollar, of Cary, is charged with communicating threats.
According to a Cary spokesperson, the neighbor arrived at his home on Sorrell Street around 4:30 p.m. to find his bushes had been chopped.
He walked to Lollar's home, where Lollar was sitting on the porch with a machete.
The two people began arguing, and Lollar threatened to assault the neighbor with the machete.
Lollar is being held at the Wake County Public Safety Center.
