CARY, N.C. — Tents and folding chairs were set up outside Best Buy in Cary early Thanksgiving morning with shoppers hoping to be the first ones inside to snag Black Friday deals.

The Crossroads Plaza store is advertising "doorbuster deals" in every department, including Fire TV Edition TVs as low as $99.99.

Doors don't open until 5 p.m. on Thursday, which means the shoppers will spend their entire day waiting outside of the store.

One man said he was waiting to save $300 on a flat-screen TV.

"It's kind of an experience, you know, to just sit out here," said Nabeel Lafee. "You know, bear the cold, hang out with friends. As soon as I grab em' I'm probably going to go straight home and curl up in bed and get warm."
