Cary roads reopened after gas line break

The gas leak has been fixed, said Cary spokesperson Susan Moran, but crews will be out doing clean up through the night.

CARY, N.C. — Cary drivers' evening commute was disrupted Monday evening when a gas line rupture closed several streets.

Roads were reopened after the gas leak was fixed and crews cleaned up through the night, said Cary spokesperson Susan Moran.

Temporarily, North Dixon Avenue was closed from West Chatham Street to Holloway Street, and Holloway Street, North West Street and Hillsboro Street were closed from North West Street to North Harrison.
