Cary reports larceny from Pepsi vending machines

Since Thursday, there have been 18 reports of larceny from Pepsi vending machines in commercial shopping areas in Cary, Raleigh and Wake Forest, police said Saturday.

CARY, N.C. — Since Thursday, there have been 18 reports of larceny from Pepsi vending machines in commercial shopping areas in Cary, Raleigh and Wake Forest, police said Saturday.

Most of the incidents took place on Wednesday and Thursday nights during the overnight hours. Businesses that appear to be targeted include Food Lion, Kroger, Lowe's and Jiffy Lube.

Cash was taken from the machines.
