CARY, N.C. — Cary police are investigating allegations of repeated sexual abuse against a teenage girl, according to search warrants.

The warrants say that the victim told police that a man has sexually assaulted her several times a week since she was in fifth grade and that some of the incidents were recorded. Her teacher called police after the girl told her about the most recent rape.

Police searched a home in a neighborhood off Norwell Road a week ago. They seized condoms, hard drives, DVDs, VHS tapes and other digital media storage devices, according to the warrants.

The girl said she had been afraid to tell people because the man behaves violently when he's angry, the warrant says. She had recently told her brother and boyfriend.

Police have not filed charges.
