A Cary mansion listed at $9 million could be the most expensive home ever sold in the local market if sold at that price, a spokesperson from Triangle Multiple Listing Service confirms.

2029 Giovanni Court, a 13,000 sq. ft. home in Renaissance at Regency Estates, could break that record.
The 6 bedroom, 7.5 bathroom home near Koka Booth Amphitheatre offers views of Symphony Lake, according to its listing.
The home was built in 2014 and has a "classic design and impeccable attention to detail," containing multiple bedroom suites, two kitchens, over 3,500 sq. ft. of entertainment and exercise space, verandas, multi-level terraces, a saltwater pool and a spa.
The home was listed Friday morning and is just one example of the competitive market buyers are facing.
Triangle real estate market is on fire
The video went viral, with others using it as an example to show the state of the Triangle housing market.
One homeowner told WRAL News an investor from California purchased a home sight-unseen, seeing no interior photos, for 20% over the asking price. Some realtors said they have fielded offers as high as $1 million over the listing price in the Raleigh market.
The median price for a home in Wake County in January was $434,000.
