Cary Man Sentenced in Plot to Kill Wife, Stepdaughter
A Cary man accused inthe statutory rape of his 14-year-old stepdaughter and trying to kill her and his wife will spend at least 22 years in prison.

CARY, N.C. — A Cary man accused inthe statutory rape of his 14-year-old stepdaughter and trying to kill her and his wife will spend at least 22 years in prison.
Eric Coker pleaded guilty Friday to two counts of statutory sex offense, one count of statutory rape and three counts of indecent liberties.
Coker also pleaded guilty to two counts of solicitation to commit first-degree murder. Authorities said he tried to kill his stepdaughter and wife.
Coker received a minimum sentence of 258 months behind bars.
