— A Cary man faces charges after police found child pornography on his computer, according to arrest warrants.

Christopher Thomas Ward, 35, of 201 N. Knightsbridge Road, was charged Friday with 18 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He remains in the Wake County jail under a $1 million bond. If he posts bond, he is forbidden from having contact with anyone under age 18 without adult supervision.

Police said Ward downloaded sexually explicit videos of girls 6 to 13. He doesn't work in a position involving children, police said.
