Cary man charged with child sex crimes
Daniel Lawrence Taylor, 42, of 320 Lawrence Road, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in a church parking lot. Police said he was there to meet someone he thought was a 14-year-old girl, but learned that he had been communicating instead with an undercover law enforcement officer.

CARY, N.C. — A Cary man faces multiple child sex charges.
Daniel Lawrence Taylor, 42, of 320 Lawrence Road, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in a church parking lot. Police said he was there to meet someone he thought was a 14-year-old girl, but learned that he had been communicating instead with an undercover law enforcement officer. Taylor is charged with solicitation by computer, indecent liberties with a child, aiding and betting a first-degree sexual offense and crimes against nature. He is due back in court next month.
