Cary, N.C. — Cary is getting another store to cater to hunters, fishermen and others who love the great outdoors.
Field & Stream, a retailer based in Pittsburgh, plans to open its fourth store – and first outside Pennsylvania – Sept. 5 at Parkside Town Commons, near the intersection of Interstate 540 and N.C. Highway 55.
Field & Stream joins Bass Pro Shop, which opened near The Umstead in Cary in February, and Gander Mountain, with locations in Morrisville and north Raleigh, in catering to the outdoors market.
Jack Barnes, Field & Stream general merchandise manager, issued a statement Wednesday, saying, “We look forward to delivering a high level of service for the passionate outdoorsmen in the area and providing them with the best brands and products available.”
