Cary double murder trial continues into second day
Despite making a detailed confession to a 911 dispatcher, Brandon Lee pleaded not guilty to the murders of his mother and girlfriend in December 2015.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — Prosecution testimony continued Thursday in the murder trial of Brandon Lee.
Lee is on trial for the deaths of his mother, Christa Lee, 58, and his girlfriend, Krystal Juell Hylton, 28, in December 2015.
Among those testifying Thursday were Derik Stephens, Hylton's co-worker and friend; Dr. Nabila Haikal from the state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner; and Detective A.K. Dismukes from the Cary Police Department.
Jurors also saw body-worn camera video and interrogation video from Cary police.
