Carrboro man faces child porn charges

Carrboro, N.C. — A Carrboro man was arrested Tuesday on child pornography charges as part of a federal investigation, police said.
Nathan Srug Zalman, 69, was charged with 12 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and was being held Wednesday at the Orange County jail under $49,000 bond.
The FBI turned evidence it had collected against Zalman during the investigation over to Carrboro police, who then filed charges and made the arrest, police said. More charges are expected, they said.
