Car pops curb, lands on its side outside Carolina Country Club

Police say a car popped a curb and lost control before crashing outside the Carolina Country Club on Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A woman was taken to the hospital to be treated for a hand injury after crashing her car at the Carolina Country Club.

The accident happened just after 1 a.m. at the entrance to the club at 2500 Glenwood Ave.

Police say the female driver was taken to the hospital to be treated for a hand injury.

Police say the woman was driving on Glenwood Avenue when she popped a curb and lost control of her vehicle. The car landed on its side. The impact shattered the windshield and twisted multiple tires out of place.

Officers say only one vehicle was involved and no one else in the car was hurt.

No one has been charged in the accident.

Police say the single-vehicle accident happened around 1:09 a.m. outside Carolina Country Club.
