Caribbean carnival is Saturday in downtown Raleigh

CaribMask will feature live music, dancing and cuisine from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Fayetteville Street.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A celebration of Caribbean culture is planned Saturday in downtown Raleigh. 
CaribMask is holding its annual Caribbean Carnival Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. featuring live music, dancing and cuisine. 

There is a parade at noon and performers throughout the day will include Skinny Fabulous, St. Vincy Soca Artist, Empress Charmaine, African King, Ras Medy, Crucial Fyah and Dwytea. 

Food, art and a special children's corner are also on tap. 

Admission is free.
