Four, one-hour webinars on “the business of caregiving” set for April 8, 15, 22, 29

Transitions LifeCare cares about caregivers, and they want to be sure caregiver needs are met by hosting a series of webinars in April with the theme of “the business of caregiving.”
For more than 10 years, the Caregivers Summit was an in-person event where caregivers – those who are aching to connect with resources and information to help support their role as “caregiver” – came together for networking, education, and, yes, lunch and entertainment. Last year, Summit hosts pivoted to a virtual event and were grateful to have more than 1,500 caregivers register to hear from subject matter experts. This year, the event will again be virtual, scheduled for April 8, 15, 22, and 29 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Hear from experts on legal planning, how to pay for long-term care, Medicaid/Medicaid Managed Care, and Medicare/Medicare Advantage Plans.

The beauty of providing these webinars via Zoom is that family members who may not live locally and caregivers who may not easily be able to leave their loved one alone for a day can participate. Providing this platform – at no cost to the caregivers -- is possible because of the generosity of sponsors who continue to support caregivers.

Registration and more information (including link to informational flyer) can be found at www.caregiverssummit.org.

For those of you who registered for the 2020 VIRTUAL Caregivers Summit, all the content and access to exhibitors/sponsors remains available to you on desktop/laptop/tablet, iPhone, or Google Play.
