— A single-vehicle wreck on North Carolina State University’s campus left a brick wall in pieces Saturday morning.

Campus police said the driver lost control after hitting an oil slick at Hillsborough Street and Pullen Drive.

There were no injuries, and no charges will be filed, officers said.

The local fire department sprinkled salt dust on the oil slick to prevent other cars from skidding.
