Durham, N.C. — A car hit the front of a Circle K convenience store Friday morning, police said.
Kimberly Speight was pulling her 2006 Lexus into a parking space in front of the store, at 109 W. N.C. Highway 54, at about 9 a.m. when she hit the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal, police said.
The car struck the glass doors to the store, police said. No injuries were reported.
No charges have been filed in the incident, police said.
The store remained open for business.
