Car hits 15-passenger van, injuring three
Multiple people were injured when a 15-passenger van was struck by a car in Durham Saturday night, police said.
Posted — UpdatedDURHAM, N.C. — Three people were injured when a 15-passenger van was struck by a car Saturday, Durham police said.
A car driver ran a red light at Mangum Street and Morehead Avenue around 5:30 p.m., striking the van.
Three people suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Duke University Medical Center.
Officers said they planned to charge the car's driver, whose name has not been released.
