Car crashes into power pole on Yadkin Road in Fayetteville

Yadkin Road was closed early Tuesday morning after an overnight crash.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Yadkin Road in Fayetteville has reopened after an overnight crash.

On Monday around 11 p.m., officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to a single-vehicle crash on Yadkin Road near N. Platte Road.

According to police, a car struck a power pole, causing it to break. Power lines were stretched across the roadway.

The driver suffered only minor injuries.

Duke Energy crews were on scene making repairs, and Yadkin Road reopened around 5 a.m.
