HENDERSON, N.C. — North Carolina State Troopers were investigating the cause of an accident on I-85 Monday afternoon.

According to Henderson Police, the driver of a car carrier blacked out behind the wheel and veered off the road into a stand of trees. Jeffrey Clyde Dyson, of Hiddenite, was treated and released from an area hospital. The identity and condition of another peron in the cab was not available.
