Capitol Broadcasting helping with relief efforts for Alabama tornado victims

Capitol Broadcasting Company is stepping in to help those impacted by the deadly tornadoes in Alabama earlier this month.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Capitol Broadcasting Company is stepping in to help those impacted by the deadly tornadoes in Alabama earlier this month.

Among the 23 victims that were killed, seven were members of one family.

He plans to take donations down to help the victims of this terrible tragedy.

You can help by donating items in need by residents of the hard hit area.

You can drop donations off at Virgin Cigars, at 8601 Glenwood Ave., in Raleigh, until next week.

  • Eyewash
  • First-aid kit
  • Thermometer
  • Coffee maker
  • Toaster
  • Large band-aids
  • Water
  • Journals
  • Headphones
  • iPhone chargers
  • Android chargers
  • Toiletries
  • Steam Iron
  • Undergarments
  • Flashlights
  • Medium-large and extra large extra heavy duty work gloves
  • Safety glasses
  • Large tarps
  • 32-gallon or above trash cans
  • Large extra-heavy duty trash bags
  • 2 small fire extinguishers
  • To go food containers
  • Paper plates bowl forks knives spoons
  • Over the counter medicines, including ibuprofen, Excedrin, Tylenol, Zyrtec allergy medicine, Neosporin, Omeprazole and Visine
