RALEIGH, N.C. — Cameron Village steak and seafood restaurant Faire served its final meal on Monday.

"We are sad to announce that as of Monday, June 13th, Faire is closed for business. Thank you to all our friends, family, and team members for the last year and a half," reads a note on the restaurant website.

Faire opened in October 2014, among the first of a recent spate of expansion in Cameron Village, as an anchor on the corner of Oberlin Road and Clark Avenue. It makes up much of the bottom floor of a residential building, alongside Flywheel Sports spinning club and Benelux Coffee.

It wasn't immediately clear what might go into that space.

The restaurant is one of five Eschelon Experiences properties across the Triangle.
