California journalist killed during street race
A 67-year-old journalist in California was killed after a car allegedly involved in a street race crashed into his truck.
It's horrendous. I thought during the day they were raising during the day, what were they trying to accomplish? They would appoint her that. Don't they realize people were going to get her Pap? Buchanan Harbor has devastated. She never got to say good bye to her husband when he left there Santa and at home around 11 45 today to grab lunch. And he's been working at home. I said, Well, when you take a break, I'll bring you some lunch And he said, No, I'm going to run over to Papa She would soon learn. Her 67 year old husband, Jean Harbor, a senior editor at the Orange County Register, was killed in a hit and run collision. Police say two street racers were speeding down Bristol in Santa Ana when the driver of this BMW crashed in the Gene Harbert struck. His wife of more than 35 years is still in shock. I still don't if you drove up right now, I would believe it more than I believe this you can in hard Brexit. Her husband loved the news. He worked at the O. C. Register for 35 years. He loved the Angels baseball team, his Yorkie Riley and his wife, who just survived Stage four ovarian cancer When I was going to go through chemo, he's always there for me. No, I don't. I don't won't have anyone to reach out and hold his hand anymore because I guess I'm on my own. This is not right. His boss told us Heartbreak was a newsman at heart and a journalist to his core. It's one thing to be a great journalist, and that's fine. But more important, he was just a really great man, a great person, great husband to his wife. His wife hopes sharing her story will stop street racers from risking innocent lives. Imagine it was your family. Would your street racing in your mother's in that car that you hit? How are you going to feel then?
