Buy State Fair ticket, support Wake, Granville schools

N.C. State Fair visitors can take advantage of reduced ticket prices - and help their favorite school in the Wake and Granville school systems.

N.C. State Fair visitors can take advantage of reduced ticket prices - and help their favorite school in the Wake and Granville school systems

As part of a program that started in 2013, fairgoers can support Wake (and now Granville) schools by purchasing online admission tickets through a special Tools for Schools Etix page. Be sure to select your school from the dropdown menu so you can key in the your school code before you buy the tickets.

Schools will receive $2 for each adult admission ticket purchased and $1 for each child ticket purchased. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. That's the same price for advanced admission tickets to the fair through Oct. 17.

The 2019 fair runs Oct. 17 to Oct. 27.
