The Container Store will open its first North Carolina location in October near Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh, a spokeswoman said Friday.

The 25,000-square-foot store will occupy a building vacated by Circuit City.

The company, based in Dallas, Texas, sells organization and storage products for homes and offices.

Applications <a href="http://www.containerstore.com/careers/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">are being accepted via the company's Web site</a> for an estimated 60 jobs at the location. A grand opening is planned for Oct. 16.
