CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Leonard Wood, a developer in Atlanta, has pledged a $4 million gift to the Center for Real Estate Development at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
The funds will support the Leonard W. Wood Foundation for Excellence in Real Estate.
Wood is a former principal at Trammell Crow Residential and is a founding member of Wood Partners LLC in Atlanta.
The funds will be used for the Kenan-Flagler MBA program in real estate as well as a real estate program at the Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise.
Wood’s business partners contributed $1 million toward the total.
