NCSU Names Graduate School after Wachovia Executive

RALEIGH, N.C. — The business graduate school within the College of Management at North Carolina State University has been named in honor of Benjamin Jenkins III, vice chairman and president of the General Bank at Wachovia.

The Jenkins Graduate School of Management includes master of accounting and master of business administration programs. It also includes the graduate economics program which is offered jointly along with the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

Jenkins is a 1968 graduate of N.C. State, having earned a degree in textiles chemistry. He has worked at Wachovia for 35 years. He earned an MBA at the University of Alabama.
