Triangle logistics firm to hire 50 truck drivers

Logistics firm Longistics will host a job fair Saturday, with the goal of hiring 50 for over-the-road drivers.

MORRISVILLE, N.C. — Logistics firm Longistics will host a job fair Saturday, with the goal of hiring 50 for over-the-road drivers.

The job fair will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the company’s headquarters, at 10900 World Trade Blvd.

“These new positions reflect our company’s growth and commitment to providing the best logistics solutions possible to our clients,” Pat Long, Longistics vice chairman, said in a statement. “We are looking for team members who seek great miles, consistent pay, a super benefit package and more.”

Drivers must have a class A commercial driver’s license, at least two years of over-the-road experience, a good motor vehicle record and no criminal background.
