Raleigh, N.C. — Four new Chloe's Furniture stores are set to open in Raleigh, Clayton, Fayetteville and Goldsboro Thursday, a company spokesman said.
The stores will replace the Ashley's Furniture stores formerly at those locations. The company will employ more than 80 people, full and part time, according to a news release.
Chloe's Furniture specializes in brand name furniture, Chief Executive Officer Deshon Hodge said in the release.
"We needed a fresh start with name brand furniture and an approach that better suits the market," Hodge said of transitioning the Ashley's Furniture into Chloe's Furniture stores.
A grand opening sale runs Thursday through April 11.
