Durham offers free office space
The event offers entrepreneurs space at 201 W. Main St., free, fast Wi-Fi connections from Time Warner Cable and free parking
Posted — UpdatedDURHAM, N.C. — Those wishing to work in Durham can get free rent downtown through May 31 during the Bull City Startup Stampede, sponsored by the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Durham, Inc. and Self-Help Commercial Real Estate.
The event offers entrepreneurs space at 201 W. Main St., free, fast Wi-Fi connections from Time Warner Cable and free parking. The chamber estimated 10 to 15 companies could be accommodated in the space.
The sponsors hope that businesses that sample downtown Durham will want to stay there.
Applications, through www.startupstampede.com, are due March 11. Companies will be selected on March 18.
